Youth or teen prices for ages roughly 13–17, sometimes sold as “concessions”.

Some venues may ask for proof of age (passport, ID card or school ID) at the turnstiles, especially for season tickets or heavily discounted games.

In addition to the ticket itself, children can get:

  • Kids’ meal deals: A burger/hotdog, fries and a drink at a lower price than three separate items.
  • Junior merchandise: Discounts on children’s shirts, scarves or fan packs.
  • Experiences: The chance to be a player escort/mascot, take part in pitch-side photos or join special “kids only” stadium tours.

How parents usually get kids discounts

Parents typically find and activate discounts in the following ways:

  • Selecting the “child”, “junior” or “youth” ticket category in the club’s online ticketing system.
  • Buying family tickets (adult + child) instead of single tickets.
  • Checking club apps and newsletters for special “kids for free” or “kids for a quid” campaigns.
  • Bringing ID for children at the entrance if the club states that age may be checked.
  • For season tickets, it is often necessary to create individual profiles for the children in the system, linked to an adult account.

Practical tips for families

  • Always check age limits and zones on the club’s official website.
  • Compare family packages with single tickets – sometimes the package is cheaper, sometimes not.
  • Consider sections with less standing-area culture if the children are small or sensitive to noise.
  • Arrive early at family or kids entrances to avoid stress before kickoff.
